AFS was engaged by this client to assist its effort to become Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. In order for the client to become HIPAA compliant, the first step was to address their IT processes and controls. AFS realized that success would be achieved only when the client’s IT strategy was effectively aligned with the business.
